Carmen M. Love was born in Havana, Cuba. Her family emigrated to the United States when she was one year old and she was raised in Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and the University of Miami School of Law. For 13 years Ms. Love was Assistant District Legal Counsel for the Department of Children and Families in the Miami-Dade and Central Florida regions. She handled a wide range of cases including mental health, public benefits, dependency, labor and employment and commercial litigation in state and federal courts and regulatory matters before the Division of Administrative Hearings and the Public Employee’s Relations Commission.

Today, Ms. Love’s practice focuses primarily on the representation of individuals seeking Social Security Disability benefits that have been denied.

Ms. Love has been admitted to and practiced in the courts of the State of Florida and the Southern Federal District Court. She is, and has been, a member of various professional organizations, including the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Dade County Bar; the statewide task force on juvenile justice; the statewide task force on revisions to Chapter 39; the Orange County Bar; Seminole County Inn of Court; and the Seminole County Bar. Ms. Love has two children and is fluent in Spanish.
