Nicholas Mitchell was born and raised in Gainesville, FL. Nicholas attended the University of Florida where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in entrepreneurship.
Following the University of Florida, Nicholas attended Stetson University College of Law where he obtained both his juris doctor (JD) and masters in business administration (MBA) in just three years. During this time, he interned for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich of the United States District Court Middle District of Florida. He then went on to attend the University of Florida where he earned his masters of tax law (LL.M.).
Nicholas then went on to join The Nation Law Firm to represent injured persons and individuals seeking insurance benefits that have been denied. His practice focuses primarily on claims for life, health, and disability insurance, including actions arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). It also consists of the area of bad faith insurance litigation.
Outside of work, Nicholas pursues many activities. He enjoys the great outdoors, trying new culinary dishes, woodworking, and trivia. He also pursues an active lifestyle and loves to travel.
