Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Krak worked for the State Attorneys Office in Pinellas County, Clearwater, Florida for four and a half years. As an assistant state attorney, he tried more than 50 jury trials, including several capital crimes.
In 2000, Mr. Krak moved to Orlando where he began putting his extensive trial experience to work representing the interests of insurance companies defending claims in areas of medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability and general personal injury. After several years of defending insurance companies and observing how poorly they treated consumers, Mr. Krak knew he wanted to change the clientele which he represented. In January of 2004, Mr. Krak joined The Nation Law Firm and began focusing his law practice on representing homeowners and business owners with their property related insurance claims. He has handled hundreds of property insurance cases, including losses caused by hurricanes and windstorm, hail storms, sinkholes, fires, water intrusion, mold, theft and other causes. Mr. Krak helps his clients recover from devastating losses by forcing insurance companies to pay for 100% of the damages covered by the policy.
Mr. Krak belongs to several professional organizations including the Seminole County Bar Association and the Seminole County Inns of Court. He has also been a guest speaker for various associations and groups on the topic of property insurance claims.
Mr. Kraks wife, Kathleen, is also an attorney. They live in Orlando with their 2 children. Outside of work, Mr. Krak enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his kids basketball, baseball and football teams.
